Privacy Statement
Revised and Effective as of August 15, 2017
This Privacy Statement pertains to the Candidate Management Platform ("CMP"), an online service provided by ApplicationsOnline, LLC ("ApplicationsOnline," "us," "we," "our") through the CMP website located at campusdolphin.com (the "CMP Website") on behalf of the educational institutions identified on the website (collectively referred to herein as, the “Institutions”). The CMP Website and all associated services, webpages, software and content are collectively referred to in this Privacy Statement as the "CMP Service." This Privacy Statement explains ApplicationsOnline's practices regarding: (a) our collection of personally identifiable information (i.e., information that is specific to you and identifies you individually) through the CMP Service; (b) our use and disclosure of the information collected; and (c) the steps we take to safeguard personally identifiable information. By using the CMP Service, you accept and consent to our practices regarding the collection, use and disclosure of personally identifiable information, as described below.
-
COLLECTION OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
The CMP Service uses various electronic forms to collect certain types of information from you for and on behalf of the Institutions, as determined and required by the Institutions. All personally identifiable information collected is voluntarily provided by you, at your discretion, though certain fields may be deemed "required" in order to utilize the CMP Service. We do not surreptitiously collect personally identifiable information from any users of the CMP Service. In general, we collect personally identifiable information from you during the process of registering for a new account, including your first name, last name, date of birth, and email address (collectively referred to as, "Registration Information"). We also collect personally identifiable information from you as you complete the various electronic forms comprising the CMP Service. Each form will clearly describe the personally identifiable information requested and you may elect to provide or withhold such information in each instance, though some information may be deemed "required" in order to proceed.
From time-to-time we may also provide you with the opportunity to participate in our own surveys, on which we may request certain personally identifiable information. Participation in these surveys is voluntary and you may decline to participate or provide the requested information. We may also collect personally identifiable information when you contact us via email for technical support or other assistance.
In addition to the personally identifiable information collected (as described above), we automatically collect general, non-identifying information from all users of the CMP Service and the CMP Website. General information does not specifically identify you and may include, for example, information automatically provided to us by your browser or computer, such as your IP address, Internet service provider, the type of browser you are using, your operating system, the webpages you visited on the CMP Website, and the date and time of your visit.
-
USE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
We store the personally identifiable information we collect from you in our electronic databases and/or associated files. We use that information solely in connection with providing and maintaining the CMP Service and, of course, we make your personally identifiable information available to the Institutions, as further described below. You understand and agree that, regardless of your country of residence, your personally identifiable information will be transferred to the United States for storage, processing and use by ApplicationsOnline and the Institutions. We may use your email address and/or other contact information to communicate with you from time to time about your account and/or to provide you with administrative, technical or other information about the CMP Service, or to respond to your inquiries and requests for customer service. These communications are not promotional in nature.
The general information that we collect automatically from users of the CMP Service is stored primarily in our log files. With the exception of an IP address, which may be stored with registration information in our database, general information is not used to identify individual users of the CMP Service. We use general information to analyze website usage, performance, loads and trends, and to administer, maintain and improve the CMP Service. We may also use and/or disclose aggregated, anonymized personally identifiable information for statistical and other purposes.
-
DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION
We disclose personally identifiable information only to the third parties identified below and only under the specific circumstances described. We do not intentionally sell, lease, license, share or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information to any other third parties or under any other circumstances.

The CMP Service is used by the Institutions’ admission candidates to provide pertinent information to them, as determined and required by the Institutions. When we collect personally identifiable information from you through the CMP Service, we are collecting such information on behalf of the Institutions and serve only as custodians of the information collected. The Institutions will necessarily receive a copy of all of the personally identifiable information we collect from you. By using the CMP Service and providing the requested information, you are authorizing us to disclose your personally identifiable information to the Institutions. Note that we cannot and do not control the use and/or disclosure of your personally identifiable information by the Institutions and we are not responsible for any use or misuse by those Institutions or any third party. We recommend that you review the privacy policies and practices of the Institutions prior to submitting any personally identifiable information through the CMP Service. Any questions about the Institutions’ respective privacy policies or their use or handling of your personally identifiable information should be directed to the applicable Institutions. ApplicationsOnline cannot respond to such questions.

To Successors In Interest
We may disclose personally identifiable information in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of our business or assets, or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy, or receivership, if such information is transferred to one or more third parties as part of our business or assets.
